ER and Fert Report :)

First of all, THANK YOU so much for all the GL wishes, PPV's and prayers, I soooo appreciate all your support :)

My ER was yesterday at 1:30pm and it went well. We got 22 eggs. I was really surprised, I thought we would get less than 20 but my ovaries decided to be over-achievers.

I spent most of the day on the couch with the heating pad on. I am still sore but am very glad we had a good amount of eggs to work with.

I got the fer report call today around 11:30am. I had been in a meeting that ended early so I was actually able to talk to nurse.

She asked how I was feeling and said to make sure to call if I start to feel any worse. She then said she wanted to give me the good news, I think my heart skipped a beat.

So, 22 egg retrieved
17 egg were mature
15 embies fertilized perfectly :)

She also said my RE is really happy with everything and that I will be doing a 5dt on Friday. She will call me back on Weds. with another embie update and my time for Friday.

When I got off the phone I immediately started crying and I called D. I think I cried for at least 15 minutes and D was so happy with the news.

I think after all the bad news and awful phone calls over the last 3 years I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. It was so nice to get a call that said things were going how they are supposed to be.

I drove up from my meeting in tears and saying Thank You God over and over :)

I know that anything can happen at this point but I am so grateful we have gotten this far.
