IVF 1.5 update / ICLW

It's officially underway. I started the evil lupron on Friday 3/19. DH gives me my injections every morning. I have to say morning injections suck ass. Lupron gives me an immediate reaction - burning, red welts at injection site and exhaustion. I would much rather do it at night but my RE wants me to do them in morning :(

I've been icing prior to injection and that has helped with the burning and welts, instead of lasting 30 minutes, it feels better in about 10-15 minutes. The exhaustion is not going away. I hope I don't fall asleep at my desk.

Tonight is my last BCP and then we wait for lupron period to start. I have my baseline scheduled for 3/29 and am hoping to start stimming 3/31.

Come on lucky # 1.5 :)

Welcome ICLW'ers. I love it when you stop by and say hi. Our journey is to your right.

Once again here are a few more of my favorite things in pictures (can you tell I really like to eat?).

Wishing you luck with your cycle! IVF takes so much strength and determination to go through.

I love your favorite things in pictures! I really enjoy True Blood as well :)

I'm with Jill on True Blood! I haven't gotten to watch any of this season yet because I don't have HBO.

Best of luck getting through the injections. I hope this cycle makes it all worth it!

Thank you so much for your comments on my blog. It is great to find another person experiencing azoo (not that for a moment I would wish this on anyone), but it's nice not to feel so alone with it. Here's to your IVF and fingers crossed the start of a much happier journey to the birth.

First off, we could not be more similar...i LOVE all of those things, literally all!! And I'm starting Lupron tomorrow night for my first IVF, hoping to get my period early next week and start stimming!!! After three weeks of bc, I can hardly contain my excitement to get this show on the road. Good luck this month, hoping we both end up with BFPs!!!
