What a difference a year makes and an award

A year ago today D and I learned that we would never have a biological child. To say that we were devastated doesn't begin to describe the pain and grief we felt. This is the post I wrote the day after our failed mTESE. For weeks after, we cried all the time and felt like the pain would never go away.

The pain isn't gone but it is duller and the tears still come but not as often. We have our plan for our family and are moving forward. I'm excited and terrified at the same time.

Tomorrow, I start lupron and IVF 1.5 is on.
We will be parents soon.

A wonderful blogger, Amanda, from Hope is Ours nominated me for an award! Thanks so much cutie and thanks for all the support :)

When you receive the Happy 101 Award, you have to list 10 things that make your day and then list 10 blogs worthy of this award as well. Post a link to the blogs you nominate, and make sure you let them know that they have been nominated!

My 10 things are as follows:
1. My wonderful, kind, funny, adorable and selfless Husband
2. Our furbaby, he is so much fun to be around
3. books
4. Laughing
5. laying on the beach
6. dancing
7. my family
8. my friends
9. food
10. pedicures

The 6 (supposed to be 10) Blogs I nominate are:

Wishing and Hoping
Preheated Oven
The Road Less Traveled
MeInsideOut
When Will It Be Us
The Calm After The Storm

Bestest of luck with your IVF cycle! When the drugs get you down, hug your furbaby and apply chocolate to tongue (yours).
