Thank you so much for all the support and prayers, I am blown away by all the sweet gestures, emails, blog comments, care packages, D and I have gotten since our loss. We are both so deeply touched.
I've started posts numerous times but they have all been so depressing that it hurt more to write than the release I normally get from blogging it out.
So, after my last post I did start bleeding and was m/c naturally. Follow up u/s showed ute looked empty. My repeat betas told a different story, they were still rising. Fun :(
On June 7th I had a d&c and then finally my betas started dropping. I finally got to zero the week of June 14th.
My RE said he wanted to do FET this summer since we had some great frosties. We agreed that we wanted to get back on the horse as soon as more testing was done. I had RPL b/w done and a few other blood tests.
On 6/29 my period arrived and I got my b/w results. Clotting b/w showed I carry a single mutation for a gene called prothrombin. It puts you at a higher risk for clotting and miscarriage. I will be starting on a daily injection of lovenox once I start FET prep. While it sucks that I have to do daily injections I pray it will prevent any more losses.
I went for cd2 b/w and u/s on 6/30 and got the all clear to do an August FET!! We are very excited to be moving forward and praying hard this FET will bring us a sticky baby(ies. This is my protocol.
So here's my protocol, I will be adding lovenox and intralipids
7/1 - started BCP
7/22 - add lupron, dexamethasone
7/25 - last BCP
7/31 - baseline and start E2V (intra-muscular 2 times a week) and lovenox (60mg)
8/7 - E2V dosage increases
8/10 - first intralipid IV
8/14 - b/w & u/s
8/19 - tentative FET!!!
I had a hysteroscopy this past Friday, 7/9, and it went well. It was another test to just rule out any issues prior to FET. RE said my ute looked good and removed a polyp.
After our loss, DH and I decided we wanted another vacation so we booked a cruise for early September, which will hopefully be a babymoon :)

I wanted to give a special thank you to the following cuties from my IF board for their generous care packages, cards and baked goods :)

I am so sorry for your loss, and I wish you all the best of luck with your next IVF. A cruise is a great idea for a babymoon - there will be a ton of food available 24/7, and you can rest as much as you need to.
I am so glad to see you back. I have been quite worried about you and knowing you are recovering, and have found a way to move forward is very reassuring. The cruise sounds like a great plan!!! Welcome back, sweetie!
ML - So glad to see a blog update and also that you have a set plan for a FET - also glad to hear that you did the RPL testing too and will get the shots to help prevent future losses too.
And the vacation idea sounds heavenly. :)
